Educator
Lichens supports innovation, creativity and individualized learning, done in an environment where various learning styles can coexist for all types of students. Coming to education with a background in design, the current themes of STEAM, Maker, Design-thinking and Project-based learning are familiar and congruent with his practice and methodology in education.

Designer
Lichens has worked along a continuum of design platforms- architecture, interior design, and graphic design. His design work is about beauty, elegance, usability, and centered around client needs.

Fine Artist
A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Lichens has created bodies of work in a diverse collection of visual genres- landscape, figure study, portrait, assemblage, and found objects and environments. Lichens has worked in classic black & white silver prints, C-prints, platinum prints and combines pastels, watercolor pencils, and oil crayons to tint his photographs, then enhances them further using digital technology.
