Poughkeepsie Day School is one of the pre-eminent, progressive day schools in the Northeast. Originally started by the faculty of Vassar College in 1934, it follows the traditional of progressive education also pioneered by the Bank Street School in Manhattan. PDS currently has approx.. 300 students K-12
· Created a professional development program for in-house and outside faculty to educate the educators in the use of STEAM curriculum development, Design-Thinking, and Project-based Learning.
· Primary responsibility is to generate non-tuition revenue through innovative programs, space usage and energy efficiency· Envisioned, designed and built a middle-school learning commons, including a large integrated e-learning capability, which has received national attention.
· Built a summer program for K-12 students involving technology (3D printing, Flying Machines, Programming), art & culture (Creative play, Theater), sports and academic enrichment.
GLOBAL LEARNING LEADER, Taconic Resources, 2009-2012
The world leader within embryonic stem cell design for pre-clinical drug discovery, headquartered in New York. Includes eight schools: Finance, HR, Client Relations, Business Technologies and Animal Operations
· Created a global knowledge and learning management system from scratch, facilitating the sharing of the organization’s critical knowledge and know-how across the ~1000 employees in three countries and five states
· Revamped the organization’s approach to learning, including by developing a criteria matrix to match objectives, content and learning style (e.g., ranging from pure e-learning content to pure instructor-led instruction)
· Rolled-out ~100 e-learning classes, including training employee base on how to train each other in the use of learning content (“train the trainer”)
· “Humanized” ERP for the organization in the midst of a failing roll-out. Created the learning process for employees to use ERP which helped enable a successful roll-out more generally.
· Researched, designed and implemented an IT support/help system, titled UPK (User Productivity Kit) for the Oracle ERP in use as the master business platform for an on-line self-service, interactive learning program. Implemented a business process mapping system- Tutor, and trained staff (1000+) in use of it
· Partnered with a wide spectrum of staff (in many areas of the company) in developing e-learning content in multiple disciplines and scale- from 5 minutes to 3 hours.

· Envisioned, designed and built a middle-school learning commons, including a large integrated e-learning capability, which has received national attention.
· Envisioned and facilitated the creation of new athletic fields for soccer, softball and baseball.
· Designed and managed the renovation of the high school building to re-create its 1907 Arts & Crafts style with furniture, paint and rugs.
· Served on the Executive Committee. Oversee board committees on buildings and grounds, education, development, diversity, enrollment marketing and finance. Key projects include direct supervision of million dollar school facility expansion
MANAGER OF SPECIAL PROJECTS, Bard College, 2002-2008
A private, liberal arts residential college known for its emphasis on the humanities and international, innovative programs
· Managed budget of $8 million and 130 buildings for capital projects, emerging facility technologies, green building initiatives and energy purchasing policies
· Designed and deployed an instructional program to train 100+ staff in an on-line multiple-campus work order system
· Designed, deployed and trained staff in use of an on-line budget management system
· Designed and deployed a facility management system for preventive maintenance management
· Created a software modeling system to lower the organizations’ cost of purchasing power
